GREEN SCREEN VIDEO PROJECT

SCHEDULE

THIS PROJECT IS FOR STAGE 2 P+TBM STUDENTS.

This project invites you to explore collaging with space and time, the material and the immaterial – using negative and positive keying effects possible with Green Screen, including using multiple versions of objects and performers interacting with impossible backgrounds. You will be introduced to Wimbledon’s professional Green Screen/TV studio, you have access for four days of filming your experimental projects, followed by an introduction to learning how to use the specialist feature of the After Effects programme (‘KeyLight’) for applying post production keying effects to the video you have shot. Work you generate on this project may be developed further by you and put forward for your Unit 6 assessment, it could be submitted as additional work, or it may just be an experiment for you in learning new techniques.
